Bingo Winners Galore

Lately there seems to be a whole host of bingo winners, however not just small wins but rather large meaty wins. These bingo jackpot wins have been across of different bingo sites, two of which came from the bingo giants Gala Bingo.

Gala is the name which everyone associates with bingo and now two players will be very happy at this site because they have managed to scoop different jackpots.

The first Gala Bingo winner who won an incredible amount of money was Tracey from Yorkshire who won a massive £1.6 million (yes, I’m very jealous)! She won this jackpot from a £2 spin on the slots game Chests of Plenty so although she didn’t have her dabber out in this game it is still an amazing win.

The next Gala Bingo win happened only recently when a new member at this site, Rebecca Evans, won the progressive slots jackpot on Bouncy Balls that was worth just over £11,000. Again this win was on slots and again I am very jealous – seems all the luck is with Gala Bingo at the moment.

Another bingo win this week came from BingoCams in which a very lucky player not only won almost £17,000 but also because this site uses webcams the moment he won was captured on camera so seeing his reaction to winning this jackpot was priceless. To read more about this winner and see a video of him winning the jackpot please go to www.ballsupbingo.co.uk
Massive congratulations to all these winners let’s hope one day I get some bingo luck of my own!

My Night at Gala Bingo!

Last night I was treated to a night out at Gala Bingo in Leeds and I have to say I'd give the whole evening a huge thumbs up!

When my friend and I arrived the staff at Gala Bingo Leeds were really welcoming and attentive. It can sometimes be a bit daunting going to a new bingo hall (especially when you are used to just playing online bingo) so we might of looked like lost sheep as we walked in! Brenda, the manager couldn't have been more helpful. She showed me and my friend around the hall, got us registered with the club and made sure we were relaxed and ready for the main game.

After choosing our seats – very hard decision as there were too many to choose from -  and being offered some refreshments and food Chris, a member of the Gala Bingo Leeds team came over and introduced himself. He was the caller for the night and gave us some advice on the bingo link games and checked that we were ok.

I have to say the bingo was really fun at Gala. The first half of the main event played one line and a full house games and there were added bonuses that mixed it up a bit such as lucky star numbers and if you called a full house on that number you would receive an extra £1000 bonus on top of your full house winnings. There was also "bubble bingo" which had the same concept. The second half of the main event was classic one line, two line and full house bingo. Chris and Brenda regularly came over to see that everything was ok and to see how we were getting on, which made us feel very at home!

I did think when I was there I wonder why these people aren't playing online bingo but with such a great atmosphere and friendly staff I wouldn't blame them for making a trip out to the bingo hall and socialising with friends and for some reason actually being there made the possibility of winning all that more realistic!

Unfortunately we didn't win anything (we were hoping for the £13,000 jackpot in the bingo links game) we only had one to go for a full house on the last game but we have such a fun night. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and we will definitely be going back to see Brenda and Chris! Thanks Gala Bingo Leeds for such a great night!

OOOO so close – only 1TG!

Wish me luck!

Bingo caller set to become pop star!

A bingo caller who currently works at Gala Bingo in Wallsend is soon set to release his own single! When I saw this headline in the newspaper I couldn't help but read all of it to see what it was all about! Apparently Wayne McFarlane was spotted singing Karaoke in his local pub and spotted by producer Dave Turner. Dave Turner reportedly had a number one single in Barbados, still quite an achievement but not exactly Simon Cowell!

The single will be called "Everyone Wants a Piece of Me" and has been released on iTunes and Amazon music store today. Wayne reportedly said that it feels like he has won the X Factor and that his dreams have come true and believes he could rocket to stardom!

Gala Bingo Championship Final Winners

I've read in the Bingo community recently about the Gala Bingo Championship finals that took place in Gibraltar this month and when I was reading the news this morning I noticed a man who was taken as a guest and won £30,000! I thought it sounded quite similar to my story about being taken as a guest and winning, but I suppose £30,000 is quite a bit more then £100?!

Apparently Roy Stokes decided to go to the bingo competition with his wife, Linda 59, who won her place in the competition. Roy ended up winning £30,000 altogether and a trip to Las Vegas! Roy apparently plays bingo a couple of times a year but that's only because his wife Linda is a Bingo fanatic. I think it just shows you that anything can happen in Bingo and from my experience it was pretty exciting! I can imagine that Roy and Linda will be having a very nice Christmas with their winnings and no doubt be spoiling the family!

Found a piccy of the winning couple!

Was Kelly Rowland actually ill?

I had Thomas over the weekend which was nice so had plenty of time to sit in watching Saturday night tele and wasn't it dramatic!

I said I was going off X factor earlier this week but with so much gossip leading up to this weekends show I could resist watching it! Most X Factor fans were asking themselves over the weekend, was Kelly Rowland actually ill?As if Kelly Rowland was actually that sick it's ridiculous, it was the worst sick voice ever! It sounded more like a voice she was putting on for Halloween!  Jonathan Ross later tweeted that Kelly Rowland was "clearly not ill" obviously a popular opinion on Twitter.

So with Kelly being "stuck" in LA Alexandra Burke stepped in as a replacement judge, clearly a last minute choice because everyone else said no! Alexandra really annoyed me, especially when she said "ok.com" to Louis, I think the audience was stunned. I just felt like she was trying to be like Kelly with a bit of an annoying Alexandra twist on it! It really didn't surprise me that one of Kelly's girls went since she's left them to fend for themselves all week and make bad song choices! Got to say I think Janet should of gone or the "Frizzy ginger bird" who can't sing as Lord Sugar calls her. Poor old Sophie Habibis I don't think she deserved to go!

Then there was more gossip with The Risk replacing a member and Rythmix chaning their name to Little Mix. Got to say Little Mix were really good best performance of the night for me!

So I've got next weekend free so no doubt I'll be making the most of it and I'll be out so I'll have to sky plus the x factor and catch up on Sunday. I'm also going to my first Bingo game on Friday night! I can't wait! One of my friends loves Bingo and noticed I was getting more into it so said I should come along! I'm a bit scared and I'm going to have to research my Bingo etiquette before because I've read a few blogs about the unwritten rules of Bingo halls! I'm going to Gala Bingo so hopefully it should be fun. It'll be interesting to see the difference between that and online bingo!
